Women’s Foodservice Forum Awards Joni Thomas Doolin, Founder and CEO of
People Report, the Prestigious Trailblazer Award
Dallas – April 13, 2005 – Joni Thomas Doolin, founder and chief executive officer of People Report, received the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) 2005 Trailblazer Award at that organization’s recent annual conference in Orlando, Fla. Sponsored by General Mills Bakeries & Foodservice, the WFF Trailblazer Award is bestowed upon individuals actively dedicated to improving the foodservice industry through their support of gender diversity, creating new pathways for women in their companies and the industry at large and implementing these practices at all levels of their organizations.
“General Mills is proud to be a
sponsor of the Trailblazer Award and to recognize this year’s recipient, Joni
Doolin,” said John Machuzick, president, bakeries and foodservice division,
General Mills, Inc. “Joni's contributions to the foodservice industry, her
leadership in aiding companies to identify and track best practices and her
support of the value of diversity in the workplace certainly make Joni worthy
to receive this outstanding recognition from the WFF.”
Accepting the award, Doolin commented, “WFF has given so much to me, my colleagues at People Report and this industry. People Report has received an affirmation of the importance of our work, of continuing to blaze trails for those who follow and of creating an industry of true inclusion and opportunity. I embrace the requirement to continue on this journey toward making diversity and inclusion the hallmarks of our industry.”
Founded by Doolin in 1995, People Report is now the foremost provider of human resource metrics, benchmarks, trends and best people practices for the foodservice industry. This innovative research and consulting practice publishes quarterly and annual reports for its members that track, analyze and benchmark the people side of the P&L.
